How Gmingo Health Tracker handles your information
Who is responsible
Gmingo Ventures operates Gmingo Health Tracker. For privacy questions, access requests, or deletion requests, email gmingoventures@gmail.com or call +234 8034985177. Use the email address on your account so we can match the request.
What this product is
Gmingo Health Tracker is a personal health companion. It helps you log numbers, read explanations, and prepare questions. It is not a doctor, not a medical device, and not an emergency service. AI replies can be wrong. Confirm treatment changes with a licensed clinician. If you may be having an emergency, contact local emergency services. The SOS button does not replace that.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older. Do not create an account for a child, and do not enter a child’s health information.
Information we store
- Account details: name, email, a scrambled password if you sign up with email, and the time you accepted this notice.
- Google sign-in, if you choose it: your Google account id, name, email, and profile photo. Google handles that sign-in.
- Health information you choose to enter: readings, profile notes, lab text you submit, chat messages, food and lifestyle plans, emergency contact, and SOS limits.
- A profile photo, if you add one.
- App choices such as theme and language.
A copy stays in this browser. When you are signed in, the same information is also saved in the Gmingo Health Tracker database for that account, so it can be opened again after you sign in. A PIN lock scrambles the copy on this device only. It does not lock the account copy on the server.
Who else receives it
- Google and Firebase, only if you tap Continue with Google. They receive the sign-in. They do not receive your health readings unless those details are part of your Google profile.
- Groq, when you use AI chat, voice notes, lab explanations, care-plan text, or health-video search. The text or audio you send is transmitted to Groq so it can write the reply or the transcript. Do not send anything you do not want that service to process.
- xAI (Grok), when voice notes are transcribed with Grok Speech to Text on a server that has it configured. Spoken audio is sent so it can turn speech into text more accurately across languages.
We do not sell your health information. We do not use it for advertising.
Why we use it
We use this information to create your account, show your readings back to you, run the AI features you ask for, keep an emergency contact, and remember your settings. The legal basis is your consent when you create the account, and the need to provide the service you requested.
How long we keep it
We keep the account and its health record until you delete the account in Settings, or until you email us and ask us to delete it. Signing out ends the session. It does not delete the record.
Your choices
- Download a copy of the saved record from Settings.
- Correct your name, email, photo, and health focus in Settings.
- Delete the account in Settings. That removes the server record and the copy in this browser.
- Turn on a PIN lock on the Safety page for this device.
- Email us to ask for access, a correction, or deletion if you cannot do it in the app.
Security limits you should know
- A password cannot be replaced from the login page by someone who only knows the email. Reset links by email are not turned on yet. Write to us from the account email if you are locked out.
- Use a password you do not use anywhere else.
- Before a public launch, the site must be served over HTTPS. A page opened on a plain public network can expose the session.
- AI requests are sent from this browser. Treat the chat like a message you are handing to an outside service.
